Contacting other Pensioners
Mailing lists
A pensioner’s mailing list – eso.pensioners@eso.org – has been created to allow easy communication by retired ESO staff. Anyone on the list can use it to send a message or share useful information to all other pensioners. For people not on the list (or people on the list but using a non-registered email address) their emails will be sent to the list moderator for prior approval. If you wish your email address to be added to or removed from this list, please send an email to the Editor.
The current members of the mailing list can be seen here: ESO Pensioners Email Addresses
ESO also has a mailing list which now includes a category ‘ESO Alumni’. This is used occasionally for official communications. For example, the ESO Alumni receive an ESO calendar sent to their home address towards the end of each year. In general, all entries in the pensioner’s mailing list are automatically included in the ESO list, but to receive an ESO calendar, for example, your full postal address is needed in addition to your email address. If you wish your postal address to be added to the ESO list, or are not sure if it is already there, please contact the editors.
Welcome to the Pensioners Group!
