GAC-EPA Membership Fee
How to Pay the Membership Fee
The annual fee for the GAC-EPA membership costs 30 CHF and need to be paid by standing order (excluding any other mode of payment) with execution date of 7 January of each year, to the UBS account of the GAC-EPA:
- IBAN CH47 0027 9279 C710 9245 0
- BIC UBSWCHZH12B
In case you have an AMFIE bank account you may consider using the Standing Order form of this bank. Please fill the AMFIE Standing Order form below that already contains the GAC-EPA bank transfer details. Complete the form with your name, bank account no. and signature, and send it to AMFIE via surface mail or Email. These AMFIE contact details can be found at the top of the form.
Payment for ESO Pensioners without a Bank Account in CHF
If you do not have a bank account in CHF or access to a Swiss bank account, you can also pay the yearly subscription fee to GAC-EPA in EUR. Convert the annual fee fee (30 CHF) to EUR, using recent exchange rates, taking the values reported by an established currency converter (e.g. the OANDA currency converter). This amount in EUR must be transferred to the GAC-EPA account at the UBS bank:
- Recipient: Group. Anciens du CERN, 1211 GENEVE 23
- IBAN : CH47 0027 9279 C710 9245 0
- BIC : UBSWCHZH12B
Note that this bank account is the same one as for transfers in CHF. GAC-EPA doesn't incur extra costs to get these Euros converted to Swiss Francs. Most banks in Euroland don't charge extra for transfers in EUR to Switzerland either.
For new memberships, the GAC-EPA membership form must be completed as well of course. Note that it contains also instructions regarding the message to add to your bank transfer.
As a reliable prediction of the EUR-CHF exchange rate for future years is of course impossible, a standing order for this membership fee in EUR is unfortunately not possible. This means the above instructions will have to be repeated at the beginning of every year.
In case you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact the ESO GAC-EPA representative.
Thanks for joining the GAC-EPA!
